  1. How will I receive my ebook? Via email?

  2. Hi,
    I have a couple of questions. Is the ebook sent in an email and if so will I be able to open it from various computers. I presume I have to download it also.
    Also, do the smoothies well meaning if I make one for breakfast(a large batch) will it be okay for lunch. I teach and we eat lunch late(at least to me) at 1pm. I would probably eat breakfast around 730-800am.
    Last one, are you allowed snacks(pieces of fruit) in between or do you just consume the smoothie until the one meal? Thank you.

  6. I just bought the original bullet for the smoothie. Can anyone tell me if this will work or is it mainly a blender. There is a nutribullet specifically for smoothies but the original seems to do more.

  9. Ajima, first let me say thank you! This is the first green smoothie book that is simple to follow (and I have read many), I love it. I have post on my Facebook page hoping others will purchase your book. I’m ready for the challenge, may I say that the Vita Mix blender is the best on the market in my opinion, the motor in that thing is amazing. I never thought to use a mason jar for my smoothies, that sounds better than using a plastic container. Again, thank you.

  10. I have a Ninja and it works great for Green Smoothies! I usually just have to add some extra water to blend kale; all other greens blend really well!

  14. I’ve been thinking about using green smoothies but I’m kind of afraid b/c I’m assuming the taste is not very desirable. Please correct me if I am wrong but does these smoothies actually taste good or is it one of those things you do to lose weight. My fear is that I will not be able to keep it up because of the taste. I’ve lost 40 pounds but I refuse to give up taste to lose weight, I’ve found very flavorful healthy recipes to keep me going so I don’t want to invest in green smoothies and regret because of the taste. I also ask because from what I’ve read it says they are great recipes but no reference to being tasteful.

    • Tai—–I add honey and cinnamon—especially to tone down the bitterness of collard greens…..don’t be hesitant in experimenting with what works best for you.

    I’ve read a lot of health books, self help, diet, etc. They give you give advice…but how to apply them is not so easy.

  29. I’m interested in downloading your green smoothie book however I want to know if I have to purchase a specific blender to make the smoothies? I’m going to purchase the Hamilton Beach personal blender (the price fits into my current budget) and I wanted to know if I can make the smoothies you have in the book with that type of blender.

    • I know this is really late, but I used the HB Personal Blender for all my smoothies and it works great!!!!

    In preparing for a total body detox, juicing and preparing green smoothies do you not feel an appliance stronger than a blender would be needed? Perhaps the green smoothies would be okay for blender and a stronger appliance for juicing.

    What are you insights and thoughts regarding a total body detox?

  32. Hello Ajima, I just discovered your website and very happy to have found it. Am an older very overweight woman and very desperate now to lose weight because of health issues. My constant battle is craving sweets. I weigh over 200 lbs. and would like to join your clean eating or green smoothies challenge, but I don’t know how to get started. My goal weight or ideal weight would be 145 lbs. since am large bone. Please advice me as to what I will need to get started. I really really appreciate your help in this situation.

  35. Just a heads up to everyone, making your own smoothies or juices at home is best unless you go to a juice bar like the one at Whole Foods. You always want control or knowledge over what goes in your body. Naked is being hit with a class action lawsuit for lying about having all natural ingredients. Their drinks were found to have a chemical that is also found in formaldehyde. Google it and you will see. We are fortunate to have people like Ajima that can provide us tips and recipes in our journeys to good help.

  47. Sorry. I used to do right size smoothie blend-a-berry but they don’t make it any more. Only chocolate and vanilla which requires milk and I don’t drink milk.
